Become a Relate Counsellor
Being a Relate Counsellor gives you the chance to have a positive impact on people’s lives and can be incredibly rewarding.
Our counsellors receive regular support and supervision throughout their training and practice.
Relate offers excellent opportunities for personal growth and development and offers further training for those who want to specialise in a particular form of counselling such as family counselling, sex therapy or young people counselling.
If you would like to train as a Relate Counsellor please visit the national Relate website where you will find all the information you need for next steps.
Prior to a placement interview, we would expect a copy of your current CV and a commitment to offer volunteer hours. Placement offers are dependent on our capacity and your flexibility to work with adult clients in the evening or Saturday mornings and in venues across the two counties.
